History

The Property Sports Network was founded to address the lack of focus on health within the traditional 'Health and Safety' framework in the property sector. The Network's origins trace back to 2016, when the very first event gathered just 11 fresh-faced runners on a sunny morning in Cannes. Since then, the community has grown to 5,000 members—40% of whom are female—spanning more than 2,000 businesses and hosting more than 600 events across the UK.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

The Property Sports Network was founded by Andrew Link, drawing on his dual careers in property and sports.

Andrew began his career in the late '90s with the world-renowned main contractor, Bovis Construction, before taking on leading roles in Olympic sport. He served as Director of GB Taekwondo during a transformative period that saw the sport secure its first Olympic medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Andrew later became the Taekwondo Sport Manager for the Organising Committee of the London 2012 Olympic Games, where he was responsible for overseeing the taekwondo events.

Andrew rejoined the property sector as Chief Operating Officer of the Construction Industry Council before subsequently taking on leadership roles across several well-known project management consultancies.
